Just a quick update on this year’s chilli growing fest, as today I planed all 80 potted seedlings out ready for a super growing season.  If you arent aware of the history of this, you can see the 2011 seedlings post here, previous years crops here and here, and my inspiration from Alan at The Open Sourcerer blog here.  OK, its nothing to do with Mercian Labels business, but its a great source of homemade xmas presents come the autumn and keeps me out in the garden!

  • Wow! That’s a lot of Chilli plants.

I’m very interested in how they fair being grown outside. Please keep us updated 🙂

My Greenhouse is rather full at the moment – Chillies, Tomatoes, Courgettes, Cucumbers, Pumpkins… Although we are hardening off some of them to move them outside soon.

    Cheers and good luck.

    Looking good Adrian.

I’m keeping mine inside as im a novice chilli grower and I have a hungry bunny rabbit who tends to eat anything in my garden. Fruits have already begun sprouting which is verrrry exciting for me.

I too am attempting Onions, spinach and tomatoes, along with pumpkins, melons, garlic and carrots.

Will keep you posted in our next newsletter of my progress in our contest 😉
